Eileen Drennen is a writer and editor who worked as a daily newspaper journalist in Georgia and Florida for 27 years. In 2009, she earned an MFA in creative writing from Queens University in Charlotte, N.C. She has taught critical writing at the college level, presented at national adoption conferences on topics related to her memoir-in-progress and had work appear in The Atlanta Journal-ConstitutionO, the Oprah Magazine, The Rumpus and The Manifest-Station. Her essay “Under Glass” was nominated for a Pushcart. She lives in Lafayette, Indiana, where she belongs to three quilting groups and investigates the Midwest with her husband, one road trip at a time.
